Halton Hills Lifestyle

The region is surrounded by nature, including the breathtaking Niagara Escarpment and the picturesque Bruce Trail, but it is still within reasonable driving distance to major cities in the GTA.

Halton Hills residents can enjoy life outdoors in the many conservation areas and trail systems, including Scottsdale Farm and Silver Creek Conservation Area, Limehouse Conservation Area, Hungry Hollow Ravine in Georgetown, Fairy Lake in Acton, and the Terra Cotta Conservation Area to name a few.

Outside of the natural wonders, Halton Hills is also rich with history and culture, which can be explored in places like The Old Hide House in Acton, and Helson’s Art Gallery in Georgetown. Halton Hills hidden gem is the quaint hamlet of Glen William’s, bursting with life, culture, and art—spend a day exploring the Williams Mill Art Studios, restaurants and cafes, wading in the credit river, and shopping for antiques at the Beaumont Mill. Glen Williams is also home to a huge annual Canada Day celebration featuring fireworks and duck races!

Halton Hills Real Estate

Real Estate varies across the region. In Georgetown and Acton you will find mostly detached homes, townhomes and a handful of century homes and condo buildings. Glen Williams is where there are larger, more mature properties and some estate subdivisions. Rural Halton Hills includes detached homes on properties greater than a half acre, century homes, and farmland.
