Yes, we love our horses and ponies around here, so much so that we have earned the nickname “Horse Country.” Angelstone Tournaments, a sprawling 100-acre farm, frequently showcases a series of high-level show jumping events. These often include “Super Saturdays” with jumping under the lights, along with other entertainment, like bouncy castles and live music. Best of all, admission is often free of charge!

It turns out our majestic four-legged friends are not the only ones to appreciate Erin’s picturesque countryside and peaceful landscape. Every year, we can also look forward to fun events like the Erin Fall Fair, which showcases our rich agricultural heritage through a bustling midway, exciting games, and, of course, livestock exhibits.

As a rural paradise, life in Erin tends to revolve around the great outdoors. It starts with a jog or leisurely stroll along the Elora-Cataract Trailway, where you can take in pristine sights of forests, watersheds, and wildflowers.

Even the downtown core is a great place to explore nature via the Downtown Heritage Walking Trail. Along the way, you can admire well-preserved Victorian architecture, as well as old mill sites and other heritage buildings.
